Friday, November 6 the Vermont Downtown Program will hold its annual, day-long conference in Middlebury.  The Town Hall Theater and Middlebury Inn are joining forces to host this conference that features downtown as conference destination for up to 250 participants.  You can register by going to www.HistoricVermont.org.  This is a great chance to learn about effective tools for keeping historic downtowns vibrant and economically viable.

More Historic Streetlights Coming

The Better Middlebury Partnership secured another grant to help Middlebury make its next installation of historic streetlights.  This installation will extend the fixtures from the Cross Street Bridge (currently under construction) to and around the Main Street Rotary that will be built in 2010.
